Matthieu Ricard: Habits of happiness
Trained a biochemist who later became a Buddhist monk, Matthieu Ricard is frequently described as "the happiest man in the world". His enquiry into the subject of happiness poses fundamental questions such as: what are the conditions for happiness. If they are found outside ourselves they become limited and temporary. If the conditions for happiness are found within then how do we nurture the condition of happiness within the mind. Is change possible? What is the nature of the mind?
Values expressed here: love - for humanity, femininity - affecting change in the evolution of humanity, contribution - in the form of educating others about the right and left hemispheres of the brain, empowerment - the presenter is centered in her truth expressing herself for the greater good of all.
