Strength, Endurance and Flexibility
Webinar Date and Time: Wednesday, June 24, 2009 - 2:00pm EST (North America)
Strength, Endurance and Flexibility
In this webinar you will learn how to improve your physical capacity which will contribute to feeling better in your body. You will also learn how to boost your mental and physical health to give you the energy to be able to participate in the transformation of our world. The physical capacity is divided into strength, endurance, flexibility, coordination and speed. Behind each element, the most important is the quality of the movement. I think you would agree with me that to have a healthy, flexible, strong and performing body helps us to perform better in life. Coordination and complex movements are part of mind training, even more if you include imagery and body-awareness. Body and mind are working and growing together. The way you move will build your body and build better ways of using our mind. A regular workout and endurance training is an emotional booster due to the endorphin releases.
During this webinar you will learn the theory about strength, endurance and flexibility training and practice some exercises together from your computer. The training possibilities will teach you how to perform a quicker and healthier fitness program.
Remember the more fit you are in your body, the more fit you are in your mind! You can be both smart and beautiful instead of being a beauty and the beast :)

Helen Moser
I was born in Switzerland and have always been very curious about life. Learning and understanding about myself and the environment is fascinating to me. Since 1993 I have been working as a physiotherapist. Each year I add to my knowledge by taking a post-graduate workshops such as all the levels of Maitland manual techniques, Bobath courses, Myofascial release techniques, respiratory rehabilitation and more.
In 2002 I finished my training as a Franklin-Method therapist and regularly give workshops, training sessions and lectures about the Franklin-Method. The participants are dancers, physiotherapists, physical educators, Pilates teachers and other body therapists from all over Europe and Brazil. I also work as a Shiatsu therapist. This helps me learn a great deal about alternative medicine.
